My Brother fax/copier/printer MFC - 5840CN keeps telling me to reinstall the ink cartridges.
Hi. Some cartridges have a chip that needs to be reset if you refilled it. If it's new then make sure all the contacts are clean. Use the printer's maintainence software and tell it the cartridges are new.
