My Canon Pixma IP4300 isn't printing properly at the moment. I'm using Canon ink but when I print on glossy photo paper the colours are very pinky/orange. It's slightly better if I print it on normal paper. I've tried a head and nozzle clean but it hasn't really helped. I can't afford to throw it away and buy a new one. Can anyone help?
Remove the cartridge and place it in a small ashtray, standing up. Add Alcohol to the ashtray till it covers the bottom print heads. leave it there for about 5 minutes, remove, dry the print heads off and reinstall. Try to use it right away. You can also try replacing the cartridges. Even though you tried cleaning the heads, sometimes this solution works better.
