My Dell printer isn't new and the ink cartridges are not new but still half full. I tried printing out a document and it had white streaks and fading on it. So we cleaned the cartridges and aligned them about 5 times and they still won't align and the white streaks are still there. What do I do?
If you have horizontal lines, there is a problem with the print head. There are two ways to fix them: replace them, or take them out and gently wipe them on a warm damp paper towel then dab them on the towel. Not using your printer on a regular basis will cause the printhead to dry out.
