My Epson 2000p printer edge guide got stuck, and now it will not print.
Part of the answer: the right edge guide may be permanently fixed which the left may move. Did you get a manual and all the software? I just looked at the manual at epson.com and the left one is the one to move. It also says you can't print unless both cartridges are working. Keep the old cartridges in until you buy replacements so the ink doesn't dry up and clog the printer. You probably either have a defunct printer, it was damaged by being moved around and shipped, or you have installed something incorrectly. Go to epson.com and look at the support page. You can download the manual. This printer has been discontinued, but I am sure epson will help you with any problems. I tried to find information online at a place other than epson.com and couldn't. You may be luckier. Epson.com tells you to check the power outlet, too. Maybe it is on a light switch and works only when the switch is thrown.
