My Epson CX74000 will not print in black. I have cleaned the head and changed the cartridge now it is almost out of colored ink because of that. I would like a recommendation for a printer/scanner fax that won't break me on ink and is reliable. I do not print that often, but when I need it I do not want to be let down again.

I have been using an HP Officejet 4315 All-in-one for about 2 years (paid $80 for it new) and refill my cartridges with ink that I buy on Ebay (easy to do). I print a lot and it costs me about $20 a year. This printer has never let me down, it scans great, copies and faxes.
