My Epson Inkjet printer doesn't print out black ink even after a new ink cartridge is installed!
With Epson printers, you can't uninstall and reinstall the ink carts. Once you pierce the hole in the bottom of the cart and attempt to reinstall, it thinks you've reinstalled an empty or used cartridge. So once you install it, if it doesn't work you USUALLY can't take it out and reuse it.
