My Epson Stylus C66 printer stopped recognizing the cheaper brand of ink I've been using.Delete the drivers then reinstall them. Then go to the Epson web site and look for an updated driver. If that does not work, take the whole cartridge harness out. Under the harness, you will see a contact board and you will see another one on the printer. Get 99% isopropyl alcohol and a few Q tips and dip the Q tip into the alcohol. Turn the Q tip sideways and clean the contact boards on both the cartridge and the printer. Clean until you get a clean Q tip. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, reinstall the harness and try again. If that does not work you could have a main board problem.
