My Epson dx7450 series won't let me print black ink. It has a full cartridge and also shows full but won't print anything black. I have tried nozzle check and head cleaning. Nothing seems to work.
Perhaps your printer set to print in color to begin with. Change the properties to black to use the black cartridge in printer properties. If its set to color, it uses the combined color cartridges to produce black and if these cartridges are low and you have it set to print in color, you wont print black
