My HP Deskjet 845c printer cartridge carriage stalls. Does anyone have a solution?
Try turning off the printer and unplugging it for a couple of minutes. This clears the memory and can sometimes get rid of annoying messages like this. This is really the only other thing that you can try if you have followed any other troubleshooting tips. If this doesn't work and nothing ends up working, I wouldn't take it to a repair shop. It will probably cost you at least $50, which you could just use to get a new printer.
