My HP notebook is having trouble recognizing my PIXMA460 printer? Would this be a result of the USB cable?
The printer was not installed correctly. Turn off the printer, disconnect the cable and uninstall the software. Reboot the laptop and start install program with the printer off and the cable disconnected. When prompted, connect the USB cable from computer to printer and turn on printer. Follow directions and printer will work successfully.
