My Lexmark C522 rejects new toner cartridges, treating them as empty even if they are newly refilled. What's the problem with my printer?
Why not try to just unplug the printer from the back for about 60 seconds then plug it back in and see what happens? Not the plug that you plug into the receptacle but the one on the back of the printer. This should refresh the printer. Also, did you insert the correct cartridge? Sometimes those cartridges are just mislabeled. Check it against your old one and see it that's the one that causes the problem.
