My Lexmark E232 laser printer is not functioning on our 2 computers it has been hooked up to. I checked all wiring and it is correct. I do not have passcodes for these computers and cannot access administrator functions, but I need to fix it. The printer shows up on computer, and even prints test page when restarted, but on computer only shows as 'error

Reinstall the printer drivers and software which came with the printer. If you don't have the CD on hand, download it from the Lexmark website and install it on both computers.
