My computer won't accept my Lexmark X3470 printer.
1.) Uninstall the software: go to start/control panel/add or remove programs/select lexmakr printer sofware/uninstall 2.) Uninstall the driver: go to start/printers and faxes/file/server properties/drivers tab/select lexmark printer/remove 3.) If it connects via a USB port then when you plug it back in it should reinstall the drivers automatically if you have a network connection. If it doesn't connect through USB, then you will have to go to Lexmark's driver support page, find your model and download it, but most printers connect through USB, so you probably don't have to worry. 4.) Then install the printer software again using your installation CD.
