My magenta ink won't print out right. My printer is an Epson Stylus C64 with DuraBrite ink.
Sounds like you need to do head cleaning(s). Once you do a head cleaning, print a nozzle check. Still not right? Another head cleaning. You should see an improved nozzle check printout with each head cleaning you do. It won't do a head cleaning if it detects low ink, so you might end up changing the cyan cartridge to complete this. Rubbing alcohol will not break down DuraBrite ink.head cleanings are the only way to clear your print nozzles and cleanings use A LOT of ink. :( Thoughts on why the new cartridges aren't printing: air in the lines. Cleanings will purge the lines of air and any dry ink
