My printer tells me that it does not recognize ink cartridge. How do I override this? Epson color R200 printer
You can't. The chip is most likely faulty on the cartridge. You need to take it back to the re tailor and get and exchange. You could try having the chip reset. Most places that refill cartridges do have epson chip re-setters, however that is unlikely to help. Before you do go to the effort of taking it out, install and install the cartridges, sometimes that helps. (note only do this if the cartridge is defective, it may cause chip problems in an already functioning cartridge)
