Ok, my printer is 'Epson Stylus Photo r220' and everything is good. I have the cartridge and the printer is on, the wire is connected to the right place on the computer. and every time I try to print, it says 'COULD NOT START PRINT JOB'.

Try reinstalling the software. Download and install the latest drivers at the Epson website to get it working.
