Red horizontal lines on print-outs. How do I fix this? My printer is an Epson Stylus 600. Ran printer checks, cleaned head nozzles, all of it, but still get red horizontal lines. Just replaced both ink cartridges, but this was happening before I replaced them.

If they're nasty smears, then it may be worth seeing if you can find the puddle of ink that's causing the problem. If printed lines, try cleaning the contact pads the cartridges sit against.
