We have a Lexmark X7170 Multitask printer that is kicking out blank sheets when I print something. I changed the inkjet cartridges to no avail. I also looked at Lexmark's troubleshooting guide, and it didn't help.
Start at step one, can you print a test page? If you can then you need to check your document for any blank pages and/or your printer settings. Before printing, go the 'Print Preview' to see how what your document looks like before you print it out. Step 2, If your test page prints but not well, you may need to clean the heads. If your test page is blank, is the tape still on the heads? Is there an obstruction that prevents the ink from getting on the paper. If the above fails, try step 3, take a hammer and whack it to pieces and get a new printer.
