What are common reasons for a printer to stop printing properly? My printer stopped printing anything except a faint smudge or two. I replaced the ink cartridges, but the smudges are still all I get. Any suggestions? My printer is an Epson Stylus CX5400 All-in-One.
Try cleaning the print heads. It should have directions on how to do this somewhere in the software included with the printer (you don't clean them yourself, the printer does it automatically). If it's a cheap inkjet all in one you might have to get a new one if that or anything else doesn't work.
