The different causes of slow printing in HP printers are: 1) An incorrect printer driver is selected. 2) Banding caused by HP Colorsmart driver settings. 3) The HP Colorsmart driver is set to Best and Glossy or Transparency paper. 4) The system resources being used by other applications. 5) The computer system is running at the minimum requirements. 6) Bidirectional communication is interfering with printer operation. 7) Excessive temporary files are using up system resources. 8) A large number of fonts are installed.
