It means your cartridges have overflowed. This happens even from brand new catridges after several prints sometimes or even right after you refilled the cartridges. Check to see if there is any smeared ink on the holder where the contact panel with the cartridge One possible solution is to use a tissue with a few drops of water to dampen and clean off those contacts on the holder.
