What is the difference between OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), Compatible or Remanufactured ink cartridges?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, indicating that the manufacturer of the printer, such as Epson, Canon, Lexmark or Brother produced the ink and the ink cartridge. Compatible ink cartridges are non-branded cartridges that have been manufactured according to the OEM specifications. Remanufactured ink cartridges are OEM cartridges that are refilled with ink and their components cleaned and replaced to meet the OEM specifications.
