What is the difference between a printer nozzle and the ink cartridge? The printer nozzle is the opening in the printer set that controls the flow of ink from the ink cartridge. The ink cartridge is the valve or storing tank for the ink.

Ink rec'd promptly and printing fine, thank you for this followup. We had a really bad experience with generic ink from another company, (all our Disney vacation pictures bled black ink into blur), so we are hoping for a better outcome this time.
