When I print on my Brother laser jet printer, it works great. But when I make copies, there is a line down the left side of the paper. This occured after I changed the toner & drum. I tried cleaning it, but it's still there.

When I print on my Brother laser jet printer, it works great. But when I make copies, there is a line down the left side of the paper. This occured after I changed the toner & drum. I tried cleaning it, but it's still there.
Dig out your manual and see if it mentions a 'corona wire' and the cleaning of it. It is EXTREMELY delicate, but can trap blobs of toner which can lead to repeating patterns and lines. Follow the instructions for cleaning, but be very careful. That wire is very fragile.
