When I print overdue notices from the computer, everything prints fine except wherever there is a letter 'h' it prints a letter 'p'. When I print anything else from any other source, it prints fine. is this a software problem? A hardware problem? How to fix this silly problem? It's an HP laser printer.
Try simply openeing 'notepad' or 'wordpad' and typing abcdefghijklm nopqrstuvwxyz press print and check output If that's OK it's a conflict betrween your program and the driver If it's got the error, uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the printer Also worth doing it open printer properties and click 'print test page' and read the text on that see if P and H get crossed over- highly unlikely to be a problem on the printer. It is almost 100% a software issue.
