Epsons are pressurized and often have chips that must be reset. HPs are actually remarkably easy to refill, as are Canons. It is not recommended to attempt refilling Epson cartridges at home. They clog way too easy. It's best to have them refilled by authorized refillers or to simply buy compatible cartridges.
