Where could I find the driver for Canon printer PIXMA IP1500 in?
You actually need to get the files from the Canon website. Under the last tab named drivers and downloads, click the link for drivers. Then when a new page opens, select the one for the right operating system and save it to your desktop. Then create a folder on your desktop and name it Canon. If you have XP and the file is a .zip file, you should be able to right click on the driver file and choose extract. Extract the files to your desktop in the folder u named canon. Then open the folder named canon and run the setup file.
