Where is Canon PIXMA iP1500 photo printer's waste ink tank located? How is it possible to empty the tank or clean it with proper solvent?
For any print quality problem, you need to check the waste tank. For any inkjet / bubblejet printer, the waste tank is located below print head's home position. Clean the head with lint free cloth and distilled water. If it does not improve remove the head and immerse it in liquid ammonia solution for 6 hours. Wash it thoroughly with plain water.
