Why are my photos coming out of my printer with thick black lines on them? I have changed the ink cartridges in the printer, and made sure they are installed properly. What's wrong? The printer is an Epson DX6000.
It could be dust trapped on the ink head and as the head travels back and forth the dust is scratching out lines in the ink. To fix, remove and clean the ink cartridges and check for dust around the travel head mechanism.
