Why can't Epson 777 detect my compatible cartridge?
The Epson printers sometimes can not recognize compatible cartridges and even give similar errors with Epson OEM cartridges. The problem is due to the Status Monitor Software of the Epson driver. If you uninstall that component or turn it off, the recognition problem will stop and you may be able to use the cartridges you have with no problem.
