Why did my CIS cartridges drain the ink from my Epson printer?
Put the ink reservoirs are at the same height as the jets themselves. The CIS manual suggested this. This is is about 10cm above the table level that the printer sits on. I have never had a problem. You MUST get the air out of the lines before the system will work properly though. Also I have a little clamp that can be set next to my reservoirs which crimps the feed hoses when the printer isn't being used. Using that will keep ink from leaving the reservoirs.
