Why does it say cartridge missing when I just put a new one in? I have a Lexmark x3470. I've already done a deep clean.
You said you cleaned the contacts, so this may be a pointless suggestion, but I have had trouble with my Lexmark with having the tape cover over the contacts leave behind a piece of itself, preventing one of the contacts from engaging. If this is not the case, I would take the cartridge back to where you purchased it and tell them it is defective. The circuit board in the cartridge may be damaged.
