Why doesn't my Dell printer recognize the new ink cartridge I installed?
Use soft tissue and carefully rub the area of contact. It must be clean. Then, place in the right cartridge holder. If that doesn't work, set the cartidge in warm water not touching where you removed tape, then remove and dry gently. Try again and run a test.
