Why is my Canon Pixma Ip6700D printer not working properly? Are my complementary ink cartridges low on ink to begin with?
Some printers come with only a small amount of ink in the complementary cartridges. Try another set of cartridges, asda cheapest and try it. If it is still faint, you may have to take it back or try Canon support.
