Why isn't my Lexmark 28A accepting new ink when I refill it? I get the low ink message every time I print.
The Lexmark printer remembers your cartridge and still thinks it is low. The message will not go away, but you should be able to shut the low ink message off. If you had the 28 Return Program, yes it will shut off when you run empty, but the 28A will not, the ink levels will just not show the correct level. If you filled it with ink, and it works, keep printing until the quality degrades.
