Why won't my Brother MFC-240C print? I just put in a new cartridge, so it's not out of ink. It makes the same sounds as if it is printing, but the paper it feeds out has no ink on it.
You just need to clean the print head. On the front panel of your printer, there should be a button labeled 'ink'. Hit it and scroll through the options. There should be one for 'clean the nozzles'. Once you land on it, hit 'okay'. You may need to do this a couple times. After a few cycles, you should notice some improvement.
