how to adjust margin on printer
In the case of some printers there is no margin requirement, however generally a margin of around 0.25 of an inch is left around the perimeter in which no images, coloring and text will be placed. This area of a print-out is called the unprintable area and some printers require that there be an unprintable area in order to function correctly. One way of checking the unprintable area on your printer is to open an application, such as WordPad for example, and from the page setup option, within file menu, you can see the size of the margin that is being selected automatically for your print-outs. When you type zero, or any lesser number, you may notice that the application automatically changes this to a higher value. If this occurs, it is because your operating system believes that the printer is not capable of printing with a margin that small. Once you are aware of the limitations of your printer you can now select the margin which you feel is most appropriate to your needs.
