HP Printer Cartridges can be refilled by going to a specialist ink refill centre, or in-house depending on the volume of refills required.  To refill in-house, you will require a refill kit, which comprises mainly of a refill syringe and ink.  Fill the syringe with the ink you wish to refill and penetrate the ink chamber of the cartridge to load.  Fill in the ink slowly and steadily, avoiding quick bursts which can allow air to the ink.  Once you have filled the cartridge to capacity (usually about 17mil for black cartridges and around 8mil for colour), return any excess ink from the syringe to the ink bottle, and run the cleaning process on your printer heads before resuming printing.
