how to share a printer on network
Sharing a printer on a network is both theoretically and practically straightforward.  Provided you have networked two computers, the process should take minutes.  On the computer to which the printer is attached, go to the Printers and Faxes menu in the control panel and click once on the printer you'd like to share with the network.  On the left hand side of the window, click the option to 'Share This Printer' and confirm your selection.  Then move to the networked computer you'd like to have access to the printer and install the printer in the usual way.  After that, both computer, and any other computers on the network that are configured appropriately, should be able to print from the same machine.
