how to share printer over internet xp
Sharing a printer over the internet is an intermediate level task, and as such requires some knowledge of the workings of the computer to be able to achieve.  In order to share your printer, you will need to set up a VPN through Windows XP's built in VPN server.  Start the New Connections wizard from within the Network menu, and follow the steps through to installation.  Select the advanced connection option, and accept incoming connections to allow you to share your printer.  Continue, ensuring you select the option to allow virtual private connections. Select the users from the menu presented, and confirm automatic IP connection if you are unsure what this means.  From there, your printer should be visible across the internet from the other computers you have selected, provided a computer in the printer's direct network is online.
