The Epson Printer Cartridge Chip resetter works by resetting the all important cartridge chip.  Remove the casing from the cartridge to prepare for reset.  It must also be removed from the printer for access reasons.  Line up the face of the cartridge with the corresponding face on the chip resetter and connect the two.  You should maintain the connection for around three to five seconds, or until the LCD display turns off.  After this time, the Epson printer cartridge chip resetter will have restored the chip to its default settings, allowing you to progress with refilling.
