what is the most common type of printer?
Today, the most common types of printers in use are laser or inkjet.  Laser printers work in the same way as photocopiers work, using electricity and heat to bond toner to the paper.  Inkjet printers use droplets of ink, sprayed accordingly on the page to form the image required.  Whilst laser printers are favoured for large scale commercial networks as a result of their quick and quality printing, inkjets find a place in consumer networks, or smaller offices given they are generally lower cost.  Both these printer types have largely replaced the traditional dot matrix style printer, although there are still some dot matrix printers in use.

Testimonials

"I salute your company! You obviously are not in the business of gouging your customers with exorbitant shipping and handling fees, even when the ship-to state is Alaska! We get so discouraged, disgruntled, and downright cantankerous when vendors give us no shipping choices and charge outrageous fees. Company B, for example, would have charged me over half of the purchase price just for shipping charges! Your website, incidentally, is very user-friendly and the purchase/check-out process quite seamless. Thank you for restoring my faith! I will spread the word to my colleagues. " (Carol D.)
