- I just bought a brand new color #57 cartridge for my HP 7660 printer because I had an issue with the old one and I thought buying a new one would fix the problem. I have taken a cotton swap and alcohol to the electric connections and where the ink exits the cartridge. I also cleaned the connection in the printer. My #56 works perfect. But when I put the #57 in I get a message saying: 'one or more cartridges have failed remove all cartridges , then reinsert each cartridge by itself and close the cover to see if it has failed.' Been there, done that, and the message says for #57 'it failed' and 'remove to use back-up' (black #56 I assume). Still a crappy #57. Please help. Trying to avoid warranty stuff with the date on the cartridge too.?

- I have a Dell All in One Printer (922) which has been working perfectly for almost 3 years. My current black and color ink cartridges are on their 2nd refill, and seemed to work for a little bit after reinstalling them. I have tried cleaning them, troubleshooting, etc. The only thing that worries me is that I can see ink blots on the bottom of the ink cartridge (I don't know if this is normal), and my computer doesn't recognize that the color cartridge is even there. The main problem now is that my printer goes through the motions of printing, but only prints blank pages. - I've owned this Dell 1110 laser printer for over a year now and i dont know much about laser printers. My last 40 printed pages were very messed up, looked like as each page came out, whatever was acting ask an ink was running out.
